Safran: announces partnership with Outsight

(CercleFinance.com) - Safran and Outsight today announce a partnership on autonomous mobility technologies, with the launch of Outsight's semantic 3D camera on different types of vehicles, such as drones and aircraft.


This agreement is part of Safran's strategy to prepare for the automation of vehicles and related equipment. This agreement enables both our companies to pool their skills to integrate the technological bricks developed by Outsight through Safran products, Safran said.

The partnership signed between the companies also includes projects for the joint development of solutions combining technologies from both companies, for applications such as all-terrain vehicles, drones and aircraft in the taxi-ing phase.
