Safran: wins E1bn order from Gulf Air

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday evening Safran announced that CFM International, its joint venture with GE, has received an order from Gulf Air, for the purchase of 65 LAP-1 engines.


These engines will power the airline's new Airbus 1320neo fleet. The contract's overall value, which covers 17 A320neo and 12 A321neo, is estimated at approximately 1 billion dollars at catalogue prices.
