Safran: 858 engines ordered at Farnborough

(CercleFinance.com) - Yesterday evening, Safran took stock of the orders taken during the Farnborough Airshow by its joint venture (with GE) CFM International, one of the major global aircraft engine brands.


CFM International posted orders totalling 15.7 billion US dollars (at list prices) during this event, including 858 LEAP and CFM56 engines as well as maintenance contracts.

“For the time being, this is proving to be an exceptional year for CFM”, says Gaël Méheust, CEO of CFM International, which has just delivered its 1,000th LEAP engine.
