Safran: FY targets maintained.

(CercleFinance.com) - After the market closed on Tuesday Safran reported adjusted turnover of 3.
98 billion euros over the first 3 months of its fiscal year, up 5% y-o-y.

Organic growth reached 5.5%, thanks to the strength of its aviation services business, the group said. The Civil aviation engines services business rose by 17.7% (in dollars), driven by the sales of replacement components, as well as service contracts, for second generation CFM56 engines and GE90 engines.

Safran also saw growth recover at its defense division, where sales rose by 5.6% compared to the first quarter of 2016.
