Alten: Q3 sales down 8.9%

(CercleFinance.com) - Alten has reported Q3 sales of 1.
76 billion euros, down 8.9% y-o-y.

The IT consulting and engineering group made 39.1% of its sales in France, with it posting an 18.2% fall here in the third quarter.

The recovery in activity - significant in Q3 - should strengthen in Q4. However, it will be very gradual due to the automotive and aviation sectors, for which the prospects for a rebound are more distant. As a result, the decline in sales in the H2 will probably be close to what it was in Q2. FY 2020 sales are expected to fall by around 13% in current economic and health situation, the group said.
