Marie Brizard: completes audit on accounts in Poland

(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Friday Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits announced the results of the internal and external audit work conducted in Poland.


This internal and external audit work, which began in February 2018 in Poland, on the Group's commercial and accounting processes, has led to the reallocation of promotional expenses recorded in Q4 2017 over the four quarters of FY 2017.

This audit and the control procedures used have led the group to recognise a charge of 4.5 million euros in 2017, which was initially set to be integrated in 2018. These charges mainly concern Poland and, to a lesser extent, the US.

2017 EBITDA is now expected to be -11/-12 million euros: the accounting and financial audit of group's 2017 financial statements continues.
