TF1: broadcasting rights for next rugby world cups

(CercleFinance.com) - TF1 has renewed its partnership with World Rugby, with an agreement to acquire all rights to the 2023 Rugby World Cup (Men), which will take place in France from 8 September to 28 October 2023.


The competition will kick off at the Stade de France with a match between the French national team and the All Blacks. After that, 10 host cities and nine stadiums will host the competition for seven weeks.

The agreement also covers the rights to the 2021 Rugby World Cup (Women), which will be played in New Zealand from 8 October to 12 November 2022, and also allows TF1 to broadcast the next Women's Rugby World Cup.
