TF1: shares benefiting from French election result.

(CercleFinance.com) - TF1 shares are up over 5% this morning in Paris, with France's largest broadcaster benefiting from yesterday's election result.


TF1 recorded good score during the election night, with an average of 5,727,000 viewers (21.5% audience share) according to figures released by Médiamétrie.

"TF1 has come slightly off over the last weeks we expect it to benefit today on the back of the Macron being among the two candidates for the run and almost all the exiting candidates having called their voters to vote for Macron in round 2," said Liberum analysts, who have a "buy" rating on TF1, with a target price of 12 euros.

The TF1 stock is currently up 5.1% at 11 euros.
