Hermès: FY sales up 7%

(CercleFinance.com) - Hermès International has published 2017 sales of 5,549 million euros, up 7% as reported and up 9% at constant exchange rates, mainly driven by higher volumes.


Given the group's available cash, on 7 February group management decided to pay an interim dividend of 1.50 euro per share. The dividend detachment date is 20 February, with payment on 22 February.

Hermès estimates that its operating profitability in 2017 should be close to the record level reached in the first half of the year, and confirms a medium-term target of ambitious sales growth at constant exchange rates.
