Atos: signs agreement to acquire Ipsotek

(CercleFinance.com) - Atos Origin announced signing an agreement to acquire Ipsotek, a provider of artificial intelligence (AI) enhanced video analytics software.


"With this acquisition, Atos, already a major player in Edge AI/ML and more specifically Edge Vision, will strategically reinforce its leading position in Edge and Computer Vision by adding key software capabilities and IP to its solutions portfolio," the group said.

Ipsotek has completed over 600 projects in 38 countries. " The company has executed more than 600 projects in 38 countries. The acquisition will add a highly skilled team of approximately 50 professionals to Atos," the company said.

The transaction is expected to be completed in the second half of 2021.
