Sopra Steria: Invest Securities still a buyer after Ordina

(CercleFinance.com) - Invest Securities reiterates its "buy" rating on Sopra Steria shares, along with its E228 target price, following the IT services company's announcement of an agreement to buy Ordina.


While it recognises that the timing of the deal "is not ideal", the broker believes that the opportunity could not be refused, and that the purchase of Ordina, which has a DNA that is very similar to that of Sopra, is fully in line with the strategy led by the new CEO.

The analyst says that Sopra is building a strong position in the Benelux countries and increasing its exposure to the public sector, without compromising its growth and profitability, along with a significant accretive impact.
