Sopra Steria: in talks to acquire Fidor Solutions

(CercleFinance.com) - Sopra Steria has announced that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with Fidor Bank for its project, via its subsidiary Sopra Banking Software, to acquire Fidor Solutions, the software subsidiary of the neo-bank Fidor Bank that is specialised in digital banking solutions.


This acquisition will step up the pace of development and marketing of Sopra Banking Software's digital supply, notably by increasing the use of banks in its DBEP offer.

Fidor Solutions has 126 employees in Munich and Dubai and addresses three main markets: Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The proposed acquisition could be completed in the last quarter of 2020 and is subject to the usual prerequisites.
