Crédit Agricole: sets targets through to 2022 for CIB
(CercleFinance.com) - Crédit Agricole CIB, its corporate and investment banking division, has set its targets through to 2022, including 3% average annual growth in revenues, and a cost-income ratio of below 55%, with cost reductions of 190 million euros to support capex.
Its corporate and investment bank also plans to maintain a RONE of above 10%, with controlled RWA, with a target of 123 billion euros in 2022, all assuming a standardisation in risk provisions (20 bp to 25 bp).
In addition to consolidating its leadership role in green and sustainable finance, Crédit Agricole CIB is deploying a three-year data project, the foundation of its long-term digital strategy, and has an innovation team directly reporting to its CEO.
