Crédit Agricole: launches public offer on KAS Bank

(CercleFinance.com) - CACEIS Bank, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole, has announced the launch of a friendly public offer, in cash, on the entire capital of KAS Bank at a price of 12.
75 euros per share, which values the target company at 187 million euros.

The bid period begins at 9:00 am CET on 29 July and will end at 5:40 pm CET on 23 September, unless extended. The completion of the offer, unanimously recommended by the governing bodies of KAS Bank, should take place in the second half of the year.

"The deal confirms CACEIS's pan-European ambition by strengthening its standing in the Netherlands, a major European centre for financial activities, which will be leveraged to further the development strategy of the group's clients," the group says.
