Crédit Agricole: MoU with NEXI in Japan

(CercleFinance.com) - Crédit Agricole CIB announces the signing, by its Tokyo branch, of a memorandum of understanding with Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI) for cooperation regarding the utilisation of infrastructure funds and project bonds.


This Memorandum of Understanding aims to establish a framework for cooperation between NEXI and 13 financial institutions, including Crédit Agricole CIB, to enable them to structure and issue such products that would benefit from NEXI's insurance cover.

Through this initiative, NEXI aims to attract funding from new financial players, including institutional investors, in response to growing demand for infrastructure projects in developing countries.
