Crédit Agricole: Q3 underlying earnings up 17%
(CercleFinance.com) - Crédit Agricole SA has published Q3 2018 underlying net income, group share of 1.
133 billion euros, up 17.3%, the highest level for this period of the year since the financial crisis.
Underlying net banking income is up 5.9% at 4.834 billion euros, thanks to a contribution from all businesses, including local banks, up 4.3% thanks to the performance of LCL and consolidation scope effect of the three Italian banks.
The banking group realised a 1.4-point improvement in its underlying cost-income ratio to 61.6%, with underlying EBITDA up 9.9% at 1.856 billion euros, while risk provisions decreased 16.5% to 218 million.
