Nexans: S&P Global Ratings improves outlook

(CercleFinance.com) - Nexans yesterday announced that S&P Global Ratings has improved its outlook for its credit rating from stable to positive, while confirming its 'BB+' rating.


Nexans' operating performance has improved as a result of the progress made in its transformation plan, which focuses on electrification and achieving higher and more stable cash flows, S&P Global Ratings said.

Nexans said that S&P's decision reflects the Group's widely demonstrated transformation since 2019 and its focus on value growth. It also underscores Nexans' resilience and ability to strengthen its balance sheet in line with its Pure Player Electrification roadmap.
