Altran: wins contract in semi-conductors

(CercleFinance.com) - Altran announces a 65 million contract, lasting three years for chip design and software development and maintenance services "at one of the world's largest semiconductor companies.


The engineering and R&D services group will also maintain software built into 3G/4G modems used in telephones, laptops, cars and M2M ("machine-to-machine") modules and integrated modules.

Altran will also provide Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) services for 5G modem processors and will be responsible for the full production and provisioning of customer platforms.
