Rothschild & Co.: reports growth in 9m revenues

(CercleFinance.com) - Revenues over the first 9 months of 2018 rose by 9% to 1,460 million euros (vs.
1,340 million euros over 9m 2017).

For the financial consulting division, revenues rose by 14% over 9 months to 932 million euros (vs. 820 million euros over 9m 2017). This division benefited from the solid performance of the mergers and acquisitions business. Revenues in the third quarter rose 11% to 296 million euros (Q3 2017: 267 million euros).

For private banking and asset management, revenues increased by 4% over 9 months to 391 million euros (vs. 375 million euros in 9m 2017). Q3 revenues rose 7% to 130 million euros (vs. 121 million euros in Q3 2017).

For the venture capital and private debt business, over nine months revenues rose by 10% to 128 million euros (vs. 117 million euros over 9m 2017). Q3 revenues fell 54% to 23 million euros (vs. 50 million euros in Q3 2017), due to a particularly solid performance in Q3 2017.
