Air France: receives first of 60 Airbus A220-300

(CercleFinance.com) - Air France has taken delivery of its first Airbus A220-300.


The airline is continuing to renew its fleet and, by the end of 2025, will receive the 60 A220-300s ordered in 2019 to gradually replace its Airbus A318 and A319 aircraft as well as several Airbus A320s.

This order - the largest from a European client - comes with 30 options and 30 acquisition rights.

Air France said that it is also activating all the levers at its disposal, such as sustainable fuels and ecopilot, to contribute to the decarbonisation of air transport and to position itself as a leader in more sustainable aviation.
