Air France-KLM: passenger traffic up 2.7% in January
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced passenger traffic that is up 2.
7% in January, based on capacity that is up 2.3%, which has led to a 0.3-point improvement in its load factor to 86.1%.
Specifically, passenger traffic (Air France and KLM) increased by 3.3%, mainly boosted by long-haul flights (North America), with an 8.4% increase, while traffic at its low-cost division Transavia fell by 4.1%.
Meanwhile, the Franco-Dutch cargo traffic slipped 0.6% last month, based on a 2% increase in capacity, which led to a 1.4-point fall in its load factor to 53.6%.
