Air France-KLM: new more spacious luggage compartments

(CercleFinance.com) - Air France announces that it is the first company in the world to have selected Safran Cabin's latest ECOS luggage chests to equip its Airbus A320 and A321 short- and medium-haul single-aisle aircraft.


This system of chests is the first to offer baggage make-up and storage areas with wheels at the bottom. In total, Air France plans to gradually equip its 40 A320s and 11 A321s with 1,342 new luggage compartments between September 2020 and September 2022.

"The ECOS "Efficient Cabin Open Space" system offers up to 60% more storage capacity than the luggage racks currently available," the airline says.
