Air France-KLM: +4.2% passenger traffic in June
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM reports an increase in total passenger numbers of 4.
2% in June based on an increase in capacity of 2.5%, culminating in an improvement of 1.5 points in occupation coefficient, to reach 90.7%. More specifically, the total passenger network activity (AirFrance and KLM) was up 3.3%, notably with a progression of 5% in connections with the United States, whilst the 'Low Cost' business (Transavia) has climbed 11.1%. All the while, the Franco-Dutch group's cargo business fell 3.6% last month based on a capacity that has remained almost stable (-0.1%), which has translated into a 2.1 point decline in load factor, to reach 56.9%.
