Air France-KLM: passenger traffic up 2.3% in January

(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced passenger traffic that is up 2.
3% in January, based on capacity that is up 3.3%, which has led to a 0.8-point improvement in its load factor to 85.7%.

The airline announced a 1.7% increase in passengers under its Air France, KLM and HOP! Banners, including a 2% increase in long-haul flights, while, its low cost airline, Transavia, saw its traffic increase by 10.1%.

However, the company's cargo traffic decreased by 0.9% last month, based on a capacity that is up 0.5%, which resulted in a 0.8-point in its load factor to 55.1%.
