Kone: Q3 sales up, but profit down

(CercleFinance.com) - Kone has announced that its Q3 sales reached 3 billion euros, up 14.
9% y-o-y.

However, orders were down slightly, at 2.1 billion euros (-2.5%).

Adjusted EBIT also declined by 6.3% y-o-y to 305.8 million euros.

Net profit over the quarter came in at 238 million euros, down 8.7% year-on-year, resulting in EPS of 0.46 euro, slightly below the 0.5 euro announced a year ago.

Pleased with these announcements, the shares are currently up over 3.5% in Helsinki.
