Kone: H1 profit up 21.8%

(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish lift maker Kone today announced H1 2021 sales of 5.
3 billion euros, up 8.6% (or +11% at constant exchange rates) y-o-y.

Meanwhile, adjusted EBIT rose 17.5% from 530 million euros to 624 million euros.

H1 net profit reached 484 million euros, up 21.8% y-o-y, while H1 EPS came in at 0.92 euro, up from 0.76 euro.

Q2 sales reached 2.8 billion euros (+11%), while adjusted EBIT was 374 million euros (+15.2%). Finally, Q2 net profit reached 288 million euros (+18%) with EPS of 0.55 euro.

For FY 2021, Kone expects y-o-y sales growth of 4% to 6% at comparable exchange rates (versus its previous forecast range of 2% to 6%).
