Kone: wins another lift order in China

(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish lift maker Kone said on Tuesday it has won an order to deliver 50 elevators to a new mixed-use development in Shenzhen, in southeast China, but did not unveil the deal value.


The "GDH City" project will comprise business apartments, two office towers of 180 and 303 metres as well as commercial space, including a 100,000 square-metre shopping mall.

The project is estimated to be completed in 2023, Kone said, adding that the deal includes two years of standard maintenance.

Known as the "Silicon Valley of China," Shenzhen is also the city with the most completed skyscrapers over 200 metres in height.
