Nokia: launches 5G indoor solution with China Mobile

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has launched, with China Mobile, a hybrid indoor radio solution to meet 5G connectivity demands inside busy large buildings, such as business campuses or shopping malls.


The jointly developed system is "commercially ready" and aims at lowering operators' deployment costs, the Finnish telecoms equipment maker said in a statement.

Research shows that 70% of the consumption of 5G business applications will be indoors.
