Nokia: deploys a private Elektro LTE network in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia announces it has been chosen by the Brazilian electricity distributor Elektro, to deploy a private LTE network to improve the reliability and efficiency of the electricity network of the city of Atibaia and its outskirts in the State of Sao Paulo.


"This highly reliable wireless 4G network, the first of its kind in Brazil, will serve more than 75,000 homes and businesses," Nokia says. Connected to smart meters, it will enable them to change their consumption behaviour to save money.
