Nokia: joint laboratory project with China Mobile

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia announces the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with China Mobile to explore the potential of artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimise future networks and enable the delivery of new Edge Cloud and 5G services.


The Finnish telecom equipment manufacturer and the Chinese telecom operator plan to jointly build a laboratory in Hangzhou, near Shanghai, to develop a demonstration system to assess the use of Nokia's 5G Future X architecture.
