Siemens Gamesa: Q2 net loss of E377m

(CercleFinance.com) - The Spanish wind turbine maker Siemens Gamesa has reported sales of 2.
17 billion euros for Q2 2022 (i.e. the three-month period ending 31 March 2022), down 7% y-o-y.

Reported EBIT was -385 million euros with Siemens Gamesa annoncing a net loss of 377 million euros over the period.

These results illustrate the current internal and external challenges it faces, although it remains confident that the company will play a long-term role in ensuring energy independence in the face of a climate emergency.

For FY 2022, Siemens Gamesa expects sales to fall by 9% to 2% y-oy, with an EBIT margin of -4%.
