Abertis: moves HQ from Barcelona to Madrid.

(CercleFinance.com) - After Banco Sabadell, CaixaBank and even Gas Natural last week, yesterday it was Abertis' turn: big Spanish companies are continuing to move their headquarters out of Catalonia after uncertainties created by the independence referendum.


Abertis, whose share is listed on Madrid's IBEX 35, announced that, due to legal uncertainties arising from the political situation in Catalonia, our board of directors has unanimously decided, that for as long as this situation persists, to move the company's headquarters from Barcelona to Madrid.

This decision has been taken to enable the company to continue to operate normally and to defend its interests, Abertis added.
