Novo Nordisk: shares up as broker raises price target

(CercleFinance.com) - Shares in Novo Nordisk rose in morning trade on Monday after Berenberg raised its price target on the stock.


The German equities trading house raised its target to 303 Danish kronor from 280 Danish kronor, still rating the stock at "hold."

In a research note, Berenberg points out that GLP-1s treatments like Novo's Ozempic could become the biggest area of diabetes spend for US payers this year given their growing popularity.

Shares in Novo Nordisk are currently up 0.5% at 318.5 Danish kronor, while Copenhagen's OMXC25 index is up 0.2%.
