Chr. Hansen: completes acquisition of UAS Labs

(CercleFinance.com) - Denmark's Chr.
Hansen said on Tuesday that it has completed its acquisition of UAS Labs, a US manufacturer of probiotics, for 530 million dollars.

The bioscience company said it will now begin to integrate the Wisconsin-based firm, which has 230 employees and is expected to generate revenues of around 85 million dollars and EBITDA of over 30 million dollars this year.

Thanks to the deal, Chr. Hansen is expanding its manufacturing footprint in the United States with two production facilities.

UAS Labs has been acquired from private equity fund Lakeview Equity Partners, its management team and other shareholders.
