Carlsberg: boosted by a broker upgrade

(CercleFinance.com) - The Carlsberg share is up on Tuesday morning, outperforming the market, after UBS upgraded its rating on the stock to buy, due to its attractive valuation.


At around 10:30 a.m., the Copenhagen-based brewer's stock was up nearly 1.8%, while the STOXX Europe 600 Consumer Goods index, had risen by 1.4%.

This morning UBS upgraded its rating on the Carlsberg share directly from "sell" to "buy," while raising its target price from 720 Danish kronor to 1000 Danish kronor, believing that the stock's recent decline has created an attractive entry point.
