TUI: summer program to partially resume

(CercleFinance.com) - The tour operator TUI announced on Tuesday that it has partially resumed its summer program due to the gradual lifting of travel restrictions in Europe.


The Hanover based tourism group said that it is currently offering a limited number of destinations, including Spain, Greece, Cyprus and Italy to its German, Belgian, Dutch and Swiss clients.

Bookings from the UK and Nordic markets are expected to reopen by the end of the summer.

Based on current estimates, TUI expects to operate at around 30% of pre-crisis capacity.

Listed in London, the share price rose by more than 6% following these announcements.
