TUI AG: reiterates full-year guidance after strong quarter.

(CercleFinance.com) - German travel and tourism group TUI AG reiterated its guidance for full-year 2016/17 after strong performance across the business in the third-quarter.


The company saw third-quarter sales rise 12.6% to 4.77 billion euros, resulting in underlying EBITA of 222 million euros, up from 180 million euros a year ago, and exceeding the consensus of 215 million euros.

TUI reiterated its guidance of at least 10% growth in underlying EBITA in 2016/17.

However, these results have not helped to lift the shares, which are currently down 4.9% at 1,243 pence in London this morning.
