Siemens Healthineers: collaboration with Novartis

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Healthineers announced on Monday the signing of a collaboration agreement with Novartis on the design and marketing of diagnostic tests.


The German health group says it will initially collaborate with the Swiss pharmaceutical laboratory on the development of a serum light chain neurofilament (NfL) technology to detect the activity of multiple sclerosis.

Both companies also plan to collaborate more generally on the identification of biomarkers that are supposed to mark the onset of symptoms of other neurological diseases.
