Osram: share down, despite AMS upping bid

(CercleFinance.com) - The Osram share is down about 0.
5% today, despite AMS increasing its bid for the company.

AMS has announced that it has raised its all-cash takeover bid for 100% of Osram's share capital to 41 euros per Osram share.

All other terms and conditions of the best final offer remain unchanged from the offering document published by AMS on 3 September 2019.

Remember that the American private equity firms Advent and Bain Capital made a counter-bid last week on the German lighting group Osram Licht.
Osram said that Advent and Bain Capital could offer a "significant premium" over AMS' current bid.
