K+S: penalised by drought in Germany

(CercleFinance.com) - K+S says the lingering drought over recent months has caused it to temporarily shut down production at some of its Werra potash plants, where the main disposal method is currently restricted due to the exceptionally low water level in the Werra river.


The German supplier of minerals and fertilizers added “K+S is making every effort to increase production at the Werra Plant as soon as possible. Additional measures for wastewater disposal are currently being examined.”
