K+S: Q1 EBITDA up 12%

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday, K+S, the mineral and fertilizer supplier reported Q1 2018 EBITDA that was up over 12% at 237 million euros, on revenues that rose by 4% to 1.
17 billion euros.

The German group said that in terms of EBITDA it had particularly benefited from deliveries from the new potash mine in Bethune, Canada, as well as higher market prices for potassium chloride.

Confident about the rest of 2018, management at K+S has confirmed that it expects "tangible growth" in revenues, with EBITDA significantly higher than last year.
