E.ON: upgraded German facility to supply energy to DSM.

ON will modernise DSM's existing distributed power plant at Grenzach-Wyhlen in Baden-Württemberg in Southern Germany, the utility giant said on Wednesday. The energy group has said that the combined heat and power plant it has been operating for the Dutch supplement maker for over 13 years is now nearing the end of its operational lifetime. E.ON has developed a modernisation concept that will enable further sustainable operation of the combined heat and power plant on the back of a new gas turbine that has 22 megawatts (MW) of electrical capacity.
