Commerzbank: many investors potentially interested in mBank

(CercleFinance.com) - The sale of Commerzbank's Polish subsidiary seems to be interesting a large number of investors, Bloomberg said this morning.


Apollo Global Management would like to make a takeover bid, but other investors such as Bank Pekao, ING, Erste Bank and Crédit Agricole could also be interested in taking over mBank, Bloomberg says.

mbank has a market capitalisation of 3.7 billion euros in Warsaw. The group, which is fourth on the Polish market, was the pioneer, introducing mobile banking to Poland. Commerzbank has a 69% stake in mBank, Aurel BGC says.
