Commerzbank: gets investor interest with first AT1 bond
(CercleFinance.com) - Commerzbank said that it has successfully issued its inaugural additional tier 1 bond, an unsecured and subordinated debt that may lead investors to incur losses if the bank's capital ratio falls below 5.

The German lender said that the order book was several times oversubscribed to, reflecting an "extensive" interest from investors.
The bond has a volume of 1 billion dollars and a fixed coupon of 7% per year.
Last week Commerzbank said that that the additional tier 1 ("AT 1") bond issue would reach at least at 500 million dollars.
