Bayer: opens new R&D centre in Massachusetts

(CercleFinance.com) - Bayer today announced the opening of its new research & development centre in Kendall Square, Boston-Cambridge, Massachusetts (United States), increasing the company's imprint in one of the most innovative pharmaceutical research and development sites in the world.


This site of more than 5700m2 required an investment of 140 million dollars. It houses the new precision molecular oncology research centre equipped with state-of-the laboratories and offices to develop targeted cancer therapies for patients.

In addition, the centre accommodates a newly created research team concentrating on exploiting chemical biology techniques to give a further boost to the company's development of oncology medicine.
