Bayer: Werner Baumann reappointed until 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - Bayer has said that its Supervisory Board has unanimously decided to extend the term of office of Werner Baumann, Chairman of its Management Board until 30 April 2024.
His contract was due to expire at the company's AGM scheduled for 2021.

Werner Baumann, who has worked for the German pharmaceutical and agrochemical group since 1988, has been a member of its Management Board since 2010 and has been its Chairman since May 2016.

In addition, Bayer has reported progress with plaintiffs' counsel on a revised plan to manage and resolve potential future Roundup claims, the details of which are to be finalised in the coming weeks.
