Bayer: UBS raises target price.

(CercleFinance.com) - UBS maintained on Thursday its "buy" rating on Bayer, with an increased price target of 115 euros versus 110 euros, saying that "patience should pay off.
"

The brokerage firm thinks Bayer's current valuation reflects a cautious market view on synergies from the announced Monsanto transaction, but believes patient investors should be rewarded as numbers eventually play out.

"At current valuation, we think the market is too conservative on the likely returns to be generated from Monsanto (...) or by Bayer standalone and too anxious about the deal financing," UBS sums-up in a report.
