Lufthansa: 2018 guidance could be on the upside, UBS says

(CercleFinance.com) - UBS has raised its 12-month target price for the Lufthansa stock from 29 euros to 31.
7 euros, with the broker increasing its forecasts for the airline group in 2018.

The broker thinks the next material catalyst will be the group's FY 2017 results, due on 15 March 2018.

"We think risk to 2018 consensus guidance could be on the upside,” UBS wrote in a report sent to clients.

UBS analysts - who maintain a "neutral" stance on the stock - cite an improved European backdrop, along with potential for cost-cutting that is better than expected.
