Volkswagen: exceeds delivery target for electric vehicles

(CercleFinance.com) - Volkswagen has announced that it has already delivered 500,000 vehicles from its ID range worldwide, a milestone achieved a year ahead of schedule, despite a tense supply situation.


From 2033 onwards, Volkswagen will only produce electric vehicles in Europe. By 2030, all-electric vehicles should already account for at least 70% of the group's unit sales in Europe. In the US and China, the company is aiming for a share of electric vehicles representing over 50% for the same period.

In addition, Volkswagen plans to launch ten new electric models by 2026 and should then have the largest portfolio of electric vehicles in the automotive industry, management said.
