Wirecard: Invest Securities raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Invest Securities has reiterated its "buy" rating on the Wirecard share, having increased its target price from 194 euros to 208 euros, the day after the German payment solutions group presented "Vision 2025" which was deemed very ambitious, but credible.


It is rare to see a company raise its targets by 20% and see its share price fall by 5%. This can only be explained by a mistrust of management's credibility following the FT's attacks, which we do not agree with, the analyst said.

The analyst adds that the three main growth drivers are convincing, even though management seems to have left leeway on profitability in particular, concluding that this very strong growth potential is currently largely ignored, with only a limited valuation.
